Brow Lift Recovery
There are a few methods for performing a brow lift, but each has a similar recovery period. Patients can expect to keep their heads up for seven days after the operation to reduce blood flow to the head and decrease swelling. This swelling and bruising will likely fade in a few days. Use of pain medication is common and expected. The area treated will be painful for at least one week. After this, a patient is free to return to their normal schedule when they feel ready. Washing of hair should not be done until all bandages have been removed. This usually occurs about two days after surgery. After three weeks most visible problems from the surgery should be faded.
