Face Lift

A face lift is a medical cosmetic surgery procedure also called a Rhytidectomy. This surgical procedure gives a person an overall more youthful looking appearance, and may be beneficial in reducing many of the telltale signs of aging. A typical face lift will reduce the appearance of age related facial wrinkles and tighten up sagging or loose skin. There are many different types of face lift procedures, though most face lifts involve cutting incisions around the ear area. The skin and deeper layers of the face are then pulled or lifted, and excess skin is removed or repositioned. Like any surgical procedure, a face lift surgery comes with health risks, and anyone wishing to undergo a face lift should be well aware of the potential complications, such as hematoma, infection, or scarring.
