Lower Body Lift

Lower body lift is another name for a belt lipectomy. This is a surgical means of altering the general shape of the mid and lower body. Its name "belt Lipectomy" reflects its focus on the region below the belt or waist of the human body. The areas of specific attention for a lower body lift are the abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs. A lower body lift includes several types of plastic surgical procedures. It may involve an abdominoplasty or tummy tuck as well as a thigh lift and buttock lifts. The surgeon tightens after lifting the skin. Also involved is removal of excess tissue. The physician may perform these procedures all at one time or break them into various components and stages.
