Perlane

Perlane is a dermal filler made out of hyaluronic acid and is used for cosmetic purposes. Hyaluronic acid is non-allergenic since it's a natural compound found in connective tissue. Perlane is injected into the skin where wrinkles are found to add volume to the area in order to smooth the skin. The most common areas for injection sites include between the eyebrows, around the lips, along wrinkles running from the corners of the mouth towards the jaw line, and wrinkle lines from the nose to the mouth. Perlane results will last between 6 to 9 months. Some people prefer Perlane over other dermal fillers because it is not made from animals so there is no risk of disease transmission. It is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is commonly used on moderate to severe wrinkles.
