Pimple Scars
Pimple scars can take on any number of forms, and can last for varying lengths of time. The most common pimple scars, are light discolorations of the skin which normally go away with no treatment. Darker pimple scars are much more aged and embedded in the skin, and often times a person needs some form of treatment to remove or reduce the appearance of them. Laser treatment is used to correct extreme cases of pimple scars. This form of treatment can be costly. As such, many people seek the advice of a dermatologist prior to taking this step. Severe cases of acne, or repetitive cases, can leave the skin harshly damaged. Experts are not all in agreement as to how pimple scars form.
