Pimples On Scalp
Scalp pimples are not quite the same thing as facial pimples. Most often times, a facial pimple is the result of a clogged pore. Pimples on scalp usually involve a hair follicle that has become inflamed. Some of these scalp pimples can become quickly infected, and require immediate attention. Minor pimples on your scalp are not that great of a concern, and usually respond to an over-the-counter topical cream. However, these treatments are extremely dehydrating to your hair, and can result in a slight bleaching affect or hair loss. An ordinary tar shampoo may be a better option for some people. The cause of scalp pimples is thought to be micro-organisms like yeast and mites. The bacterium from staph may also cause them.
